Social Sustainability
Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), ATP aims to enhance employee satisfaction, diversity, and inclusiveness by developing robust social sustainability strategies. This approach not only strengthens the workforce but also seeks to create social value. By contributing to Gender Equality (Goal 5) and Decent Work and Economic Growth (Goal 8), ATP is committed to adding value to society.
One of the core priorities of our social sustainability strategies is to increase the representation of women in the workforce and promote diversity. The active participation of women enriches our organizational culture while supporting the principle of Reduced Inequalities (Goal 10). Our recruitment process allocates 50% of the candidate pool to female applicants. Through initiatives such as the “Women Scholars Program,” launched in collaboration with Istanbul Technical University, we aim to increase the proportion of women in the tech industry and empower them (Goal 5).
As part of our talent development strategy, the Core Talent Young Talent Program enables young professionals to join ATP and contribute to our dynamic work environment. Additionally, our summer internship program offers students from various universities the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, helping them prepare for their careers in the industry.
Our social sustainability efforts extend to critical areas such as environmental awareness (Climate Action – Goal 13), children’s rights, creating societal benefits, and animal welfare. To promote environmental consciousness, we organize events like coastal clean-ups to contribute to the preservation of natural resources. Projects aimed at fostering equal opportunities in education (Quality Education – Goal 4) create societal value, including initiatives supporting children’s education and activities aiding earthquake-affected regions. Moreover, we organize workshops to support the development of underprivileged children in various fields. In the area of animal welfare, we execute projects to improve shelter conditions. To further contribute to Good Health and Well-being (Goal 3), we conduct health and wellness seminars for our employees.
In collaboration with the Turkish Education Foundation, we provide educational support to economically disadvantaged youth, reinforcing our commitment to Quality Education (Goal 4).
Through these initiatives, ATP not only fulfills its responsibilities to the environment and society but also establishes a sustainable organizational structure for long-term success. Our holistic sustainability approach reflects our dedication to building a Diverse and Inclusive Society (Goal 10) and reducing social inequalities.
